S3 E7: Tips for navigating ‘The Great Resignation’ with Erica, Employer Brand Content Manager at The Employer Brand Shop

Today on The Employer Brand Shop Talk podcast, we have a special episode for you! Instead of interviewing a practitioner from an external organization, I am joined by my colleague Erica. Erica has been part of The Employer Brand Shop team full time since June 2021 and, as the Employer Brand Content Manager, she has been instrumental at improving and expanding on all of the employer brand content creation services we offer. With a background in journalism and communications, she has a passion for finding and telling interesting stories. Within her role, Erica finds the stories of what it’s actually like to work somewhere, what gets people excited about their work, and what makes it worth it. She then assists companies in sharing those stories with the world to help attract and retain talent.

In this episode, we’ll discuss The Great Resignation, what that means for your employer brand, and why it’s happening. After a year of life changing social, economic, and political events, many people are really rethinking what work means to them and, as a result, are demanding better. This has major implications on employer brand because it has led to a candidate-driven market; today’s candidates have options. That is why Erica and I are sharing our tips on how you and your company can improve in this area to help attract more candidates and retain talent including shortening your recruitment process, refreshing your recruitment marketing content, and much more! Keep listening for fresh ideas on how to navigate this ever-changing labour market. Enjoy!
